What if I can't connect to iTunes right now

I backed up through iTunes but I'm doing my update on the phone since I couldn't update iTunes itself. It's on the Apple screen with the bar but it's really slow at the end part, I'm hoping this is normal

So, turns out I need to update iTunes, my phone's stuck on a screen telling me to connect it to iTunes.

It's not as hot anymore, though.

I don't get it. Apple support doesn't understand what's happening with me either.

I get an error (1671) when I try to update to 10.0.1 via iTunes. My iCloud Music Library is giving me error messages too.

What phone do you have?

Reviewed your process:
-You received the update
-You updated through OTA
-While installing it asked you to connect to iTunes
-It said you can only update to the latest 9, right?
