Yes, this whole election cycle is extraordinarily ludicrous and will probably be studied for decades to come. Clinton certainly has her flaws, but I'm not sure that I've ever witnessed an election that should have been such a slam dunk for a candidate as this one.

I do believe that we've seen the last of the "scandals" from her this election cycle and they won't extend into her Presidency. She's a savvy politician. I think she now understands that the sensitivities of the American public to issues such as the emails are greater than they were a couple of decades ago when Bill was in office.

I never experienced this with anyone here, even the trolling I just say "whatever" but on this other forum (in another language) this person gets on my nerves so much. He hates Hillary and doesn't want Trump to win so that's good, but he's just so damn smug. I posted "Ouch" under the clip of Johnson not knowing Aleppo and he wrote this essay (translation):

First Lady Hillary had some spunk in her. Especially the "baking cookies" and "Tammy Wynette...stand by my man" line. Classics.

But she can't even raise her voice or joke about Beyonce's concerts without getting hate. Sad but true. Hopefully she lets loose for the Inaugural Ball and the Correspondents dinners.

And that's what we mean when we say sexism has hurt her!!! Her main issue is lack of personality and charisma but when she does attempt to show it she gets bashed.

I have to remind myself that not all white people are Trump supporters as well because his supporters are so vocal in this part of the country. There will likely be a disparity between white voters in urban areas and those in rural and exurban areas. I also expect the suburban areas to be purple in major metros with a well-educated populace.



As he should be. I would never vote for him because of his economic policies, but he's the second most competent candidate at the moment. Not knowing what Aleppo is a disaster for a Presidential candidate at this juncture.

White people, a lot not all of course, have been battling this since the beginning of our democracy. When LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act and Nationality Act, it was just a matter of when we would get to this point.

It was okay then because minorities were the minimal, but we are about to be the majority and that scares them. Add in gays, other religions, and women in power and bam --- Trump.

I'm proud that I don't know or work with anyone who's voting for Trump. And I live in the deep south. Yeah, we'll be red no matter what, however I'm happy that I'm surrounded by people with common sense, self respect, and awareness.

She won't unite us on the key social issues.

But if anything is to be learned from this election cycle, is that people will get over their hatred and bigotry if you're putting dollars in their pockets. I'm certain Hillary will be focusing heavily in the economy her first 2-4 years. She gets the Rust Belts thriving again and the map becomes impossible for Republicans. Strategic Hillary is the one we need.

Definitely, social issues are too divisive. Much easier to unite over economic issues.

Nobody really knows who's voting who when they're at the ballots. In the past, I've had family members agree on certain politicians just to avoid arguments at family gatherings.

Whitenniapac () has Hillary ahead in NC by 4 points. If she's ahead with them then oopsie.

Right now there's a large brawl between parties for the rules of early voting after the court ruling. Only early voting days were mentioned in the verdict and not hours so GOP wants to give only the bare minimum and restrict the polling places to one area of the state. Hillary better slay those early birds.
