People on Serebii are speculating that Type: Null might have another form with the mask off.

Which would be a slay, it could be super speedy, but not have a good defense stat.
I would love it if the Ultra Beasts are unknown pokemon that Aether are researching, and you have to follow them around and study their behaviors as they teleport around (kind of like the legendary beasts, lati@s, etc) and then at the end of the journey, you figure out their typing, their ability, etc all with clues of move use, and other wild life hints, and then you relay all of this to the professor or Aether (if they're good) and they get officially named, and once they're named you can catch them.
