That was my favorite song from the show also. I was really upset that we didn't get to see what happened after Steven poofed Bismuth but I hope we get to see what the crystal gems think about what happened soon because how are we just gonna skip over that?
We saw them take her bubble to the temple while looking sad. That's probably it until they get Uzo back in the studio. ATM that budget is probably being saved for Patti Lupone's return.

I want the diamonds to stay Broadway legend, though I can see them also having the Diamonds all voiced by Patti Lupone, which I suppose makes sense. Not that Id be mad tbh

That's the thing the story progressed so fast during season 3 and we already have Jasper bubbled.

I don't see some happy forgiving Lapis-redemption arc like ending with the diamonds.. Especially after Rose shattered Pink Diamond..
I honestly don't have any idea how the show will end. Like, is Yellow Diamond even the Big Bad of the entire story? Or will Steven have to fight her, Blue Diamond, and White Diamond in 3 different arcs? Will he just poof them and keep them eternally bubbled, or will he shatter them despite him probably not wanting to? What exactly is the goal once they get rid of the Diamonds? Maybe by the end of this season or next, we'll start getting a clearer picture of what the endgame is.

Yeah you're right, but there's been a theory going around that the diamonds can't be poofed.
I still hate the diamonds for the corruption bomb(#Justice4Centi), but after Earthlings/Back 2 Moon we they actually had a good reason to get revenge on the crystal gems. They are still deplorable tho

There was something really endearing about the depressed guy tho. It just didn't feel anything like a SU episode imo, it felt like an entirely different show
