None of us said she isn't more productive while in LA, she's basically made two whole albums there now, but Mike you also said yourself what will more than likely bring her back to London—cultural identification and pap protection. Moreover, her US label is still in NYC, some collaborations (e.g. Epworth) are out of the UK, so she's taking/making flights either way. Why are we believing a story based off a random quote about Ayda Field...who's back in the UK herself? :

I think Adele changes her mind about many things on what seems like a daily basis. You never know what she does next. I mean, London is great and filled with opportunities, but L.A. has it all, absolutely everything you will ever need in life, especially if you are an artist of some sort.

I have no idea if it's true or not but didn't she say at one of the LA dates that she did buy a house there? Plus she's still there from what I've seen. I saw some pics on the DailyMail yesterday and it noted that she was in LA. Then there were the pics of her grocery shopping (which is so ****ing intrusive).

I just wouldn't be surprised if she did move there permanently for a little while. Maybe we'll get an album sooner than 2020 this way.

But if she did move there, I can't imagine her staying there for a long time. It won't be long until she gets fed up with the paps and returns to London.

So yeah she does for sure have a house, she's spent this break in it, but hasn't to my knowledge made any indication she intends to live in the city permanently. In fact in other quotes I'm pretty sure she said the opposite.

The paps have been on her a lot more lately for sure. But yeah, if her choosing to spend time in LA saves us a few years of struggle, can't hate

I thought the same. I mean there are a few collaborators out there it seems, but her label is in NYC, with its only major branch in Nashville. She was in all three while working on 25. NYC seems closest to the most stuff, but LA is a lot better weather than NYC, and Nashville is kinda between the two on those plus you get left alone.

In my show, Adele talked about having to drive 3 hours away and back to LA before her shows to take her son to some little kids group thingy. She was a little vague about it but it could've been a day care or even a preschool, so the Sun may have gotten that part of the story right. But I also wanna say that I watched a periscope of one of her LA shows saying that she wasn't gonna stay there permanently. Or maybe my memory is playing games with me, I can't remember well. I'd look for it but I'm too lazy

I hope so too. Like Maddox said though, Lemonade may not have had a campaign but the media coverage happened itself, and it's also more recent. VMAs could've also helped Lemonade but Emmy voting ended shortly after. I think I've been underestimating Lemonade's chances

She said something kinda vague in LA #4 ("I woke up at 5:30 to do the school run") but in #5 she specifically said play group and that it's 3 hours round trip. Mess at me having a massive doc in my phone with all of the interesting play-by-play quotes... It sounded more social that what The Sun was implying but idk.

I remember a quote about not living there permanently too, but I haven't found it yet. Just the aforementioned and ofc her saying that she's not moving to Cali in a bunch of WWWY speeches before AIA was dropped.

Her your ends thus year therefore she has the added dates in mind & the way she said it it's like she will be there for a while.

Well, those are just predictions, but anything goes.

Also, it would be so much better and fitting if Adele won Variety Special and Beyoncé won Directing.

Both would win and everyone would be happy.
