Exactly. People were expecting Britney to do something no one else could do tonight. All the other performances were ****ing boring and/or a mess, except maybe for Rihanna's last performance... but still, her first two were tragic.

It's not that it was a bad performance but I just wanted a performance that said "OMG LEGEND!!" not a cute performance that someone like FH can pull off.

I mean, I feel the same way. We all wanted something epic from her. At first I was really disappointed. In fact I still am. But I'm just really glad Britney herself was serving, even if the performance was bad/average.

The performance is 7/10 for me. At first, I was angry that G-Eazy had to be there but then I think about it again. Britney is a sweet girl. This is G's first VMAs performance so she didnt want G to just rap his line for 30 seconds and go back to the back of the stage. She is so sweet and thoughtful

She did well. Let it go. It might not have been memorable but she didn't really embarrass herself so let's just move on. It was more entertaining than the BBMAs and no moment was as tragic as Work Bitch segment so just learn to live with our fave being an average performer.
