The alt right know that Donald Trump has to say whatever he has to publically to win so they'll still back him fiercely they don't give a damn about those words lol.
The fact that he'll get them anyways is proof that you can't always get what you want. (Or, perhaps more adequately, proof that you can get what you want even if you have to pretend that you don't want it because acknowledging that you want it would make you look bad).
