You need to rethink your definition of a flop. "Blah Blah Blah" was not a flop. It was a big hit like "TiK ToK," but it wasn't a flop. A flop is a song that fails to do much at all. "Blah Blah Blah" hit #1 on iTunes, #7 on the Hot 100, #11 on Mediabase Pop, and kept the album selling. That's not a flop. Will it be easily remembered years from now? Probably not, but that's not the point of a single. The single did what it was supposed to do, and it kept her momentum rolling.
Besides, if "Blah Blah Blah" is a flop, then so is "Meet Me Halfway," "I Hate This Part," "Crush," "Untouched," and "Keeps Gettin' Better," which all had similar runs.
