Anyways, I see the album stabilizing around 64. I don't think there will be that many reviews this time around. I think she'll get 13 reviews total.

Pretty specific number.
The album isn't officially released yet. Plus, Britney one way or another will generate buzz, she's doing Carpool + the VMA. Depending on how those both events go, the buzz will be negative or positive, but the album will get attention. I think she'll have more reviews that 13.

If we go by her former scores, seeing that ITZ and Blackout got 64 and 61 I don't think Glory will have much more. Although I still don't see the point to give that much credit to a few people opinion

Glory is just not a good album. There's no need to be racist because it gets bad reviews. It has no narrative or personality, bad production, barely any personal contribution and is the product of a well-oiled pop-making machine. Of course critics wouldn't like it.

critics hating on Britney as usual doesn't mean the album is bad. and a Hive member thinking a Britney album is bad doesn't make it bad either. if Britney and Bey switched albums there would be no way in hell you would be calling the album 'bad' and Glory would be a 80+ score easily, and that's just how transparent all of you are.

Mess, Glory would never have an 80+ on metacritic no matter who released it. It's a cute album with danceable tracks, nothing more, nothing less.

I used to be a Britney enthusiast for years and I bought most of her albums up to (and including) FF but she lost me. I skipped through the album and it sounded so empty and soulless to me. The songs may actually be bops or actually good, but that production, that overall sound. I just don't like it.

Just my two cents. Tbh I would be surprised if the album was much over 60 in the end.

I have such high expectations. the last time this place hyped up on album (Carly Rae's), it turned out to be pretty good. But I'm concerned in this case... is it genuinely amazing or just good for her standards especially after BJ? I'll find out tomorrow on Spotify

This is the question. I'm trying not to read into the reviews. People calling it good are the people I expect to call it good. And the ones calling it bad are the ones I expect to call it bad.

I have no expectations but my own. I love Private Show and DYWCO, so by default I expect the album to be better than BJ already.

But being better than probably her worse album doesn't automatically make this one great, so I'll wait and let my ears decide.
