I think Coridel randomly acquired distribution rights to this song and decided to re-release it 6 years after the original release. SM is still named as the label on iTunes, so I think Coridel managed to buy the rights to sell it somehow.

It's random, but maybe they are planning on releasing some of Jessica's pre-9/30 stuff again.

Yeah, the whole group was a joke stemming from God of Music 2. Iirc the reason behind their name was "C comes before D in the alphabet so they would be ahead of the original group" and "civa" sounds like "ssibal" (the f word in korean).

I had never looked into the original tho so this is...interesting
