I have this instinct that tells me Hillary is allowing these to happen; equivalent to a lion playing with their food. It's not like Republicans have much to hope for considering how disillusioned they are with Trump. And this far along into August? Yeah, she's definitely waiting to let loose with a one-two punch.

Once she proves she can get things done, people will literally get over these silly scandals. At the moment, it's all the Republicans are doing; stoking the outrage in a vain attempt to attack her credibility. Which is the only real means they have before the debates.
Is there a reason why Clinton isn't hitting back at Trump even half as hard as he's hitting her? She's been largely silent on too many issues being brought up by the right, specifically accusations of corruption against the Clinton foundation. I'm a bit lost as to why her team is letting her get hammered on this issue and not push back with what the Clinton Foundation does and has accomplished.
Don't worry. She's giving a speech on Thursday on all of this alt-right Breitbart mess over the foundation, her health, and this white nationalist movement.
Hillary, Tim, Bill, and friends have been at fundraisers every single day for like a week. After dropping a $90M ad buy this week, they probably just raised that much again. And they have like 40 more left in the next two weeks.
This is obviously going to help us more in the long run than this two-week mess that we'll forget after the debate.

Alright, that's good I'm too excited for the debates, they're going to be absolutely BRUTAL.
Obama asks Hillary to not hire Sidney Blumenthal, she hires him through foundation, he gets hacked, private server revealed, State dept hit with multiple lawsuits and investigations
Obama asks Hillary to disassociate w/ foundation, she approves her top aide to work there, controversies in sue, State dept looks bad and spokesmen look dumb on daily basis covering for her
All cuz she couldn't just do what was asked of her
Alright, that's good I'm too excited for the debates, they're going to be absolutely BRUTAL.
I mean she's not entirely quiet. She's doing what she needs to. Fighting with him about the Clinton Foundation is what he wants. This week was more about "the blacks and the Hispanics" and Paul Manafort than anything. August is fairly quite so I suspect we'll get a lot of juiciness after Labor day.
When emails and pay for play is bigger than lifting ONE CHILD out of poverty just shows how the right wing has negatively influenced politics and everyday life. I don't care how corrupt she may or may not be on a personal business level. She's a great public servant which is her job description. But let's agree to disagree because I know where this is headed.
I will say it again and again. These scandals won't hurt her especially if she has a great 1st term.
Hillary would still win based on demographics. She's hated by Republicans and Independents, but she has the support of most Democrats and enough Independents to win. People are so over her "scandals" at this point. All it takes is good economic growth and this election will be forgotten. People tend to forget how much Bill was hated when he 1st ran. He and Hillary changed the narrative because at the end of the day, the reliable voters care about the issues and not who's getting X,Y, and Z favor and who did or not tell her to set up a petty email server.
If Hillary could beat Bernie and Trump in the same year, she could take on this next person. There is not evidence yet to suggest the GOP will get its act together in 2020
Trump and Bernie are extremes...had Kasich or Rubio been the nominee this year they would of been the next president...you can take that to the bank.
Same applies in 2020 when even more Democratic fatigue has happened.

The Jimmy Kimmel skit was good to at least combat the outrageous health rumors. (Side note: I think the fact that Trump is now having to go after her health just shows how dire the state of his campaign is, he can't hit her on policy and rhetoric, so he's having to literally go for the jugular.)
And I think most of her strategy for August has been to just let Trump implode on himself, and it hasn't worked too badly
I just hate seeing these baseless attacks go by largely unchecked, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it I suppose.
There's no such thing as a Democratic fatigue. What people want is to know their issues are being addressed and when Hillary achieves some of those issues, they'll re-elect her again. Republicans are too disillusioned and disorganized to effectively finance a new candidate in only four years. 8 years is pushing their luck because Trump's extremist rhetoric has damaged the party's image (and the fact that they've been up and down the totem pole for many kinds of issues; from their anti-LGBT platform to enacting illegal Voter ID laws will hurt them a great deal).

Do you apply this standard to all public officials, or just Hillary?
Bernie is not an extreme. Trump is not an extreme.Bernie didn't have the same name recognition and proven leadership. Trump doesn't have the temperament. Their policies aren't extreme. Cruz on the other hand is another thing.
The GOP voters clearly don't want the establishment candidate even if they are qualified and could beat Hillary. It's cute to say Kasich would beat Hillary, but he actually has to win a primary 1st and again there is not evidence the base will get it right in time. Meanwhile Hillary has 4 years to fix her image and credibility. Republicans have an electoral map issue. You can hate her all you want. Hillary would still win Oregon over Kasich.....
I just hate this "Well Hillary was lucky with extreme candidates. She was safe establishment." If that was case, Democrats could have easily rejected her and voted for O'Malley or push hard for Biden to run. Or you know actually vote for the man who is good enough to run a country named Bernard. She won because she has a lot of support. Over 70% of the country agree she's qualified and prepared.

You obviously don't see enough of my posts. I have already said I like a little corruption in my politicians. Not Watergate corrupt, but LBJ corrupt. The one that plays the game from the inside to make change. That's the people I look up to. Not saying Hillary is like that. I actually think most of the scandals are blown out of proportion and I would say that for anyone.
Like some of the things Trump gets hate for is uncalled for as well. But country and issues trump the candidate any day. I care about my rights as an LGBT individual more than if Hillary is or isn't in the pocket of Wall Street. Any man who calls Hispanics rapists and black people "the African American" does not get my vote. Hillary at least respects people even if she doesn't care about the issues, and that's the most important factor.
They were specifically referred to as friends of the foundation in the requests for access.
And?
First of all the Clinton Foundation is a damn charity not some for profit organization. Second, no one (not you, not the media, not her enemies) have been able to pinpoint to anything she's done wrong in exchange for the donations. It's all just circumstantial evidence. There have been hundreds of thousands of people donating to the charity. The AP was lazy as hell and only tracked people down who happened to meet Hillary as well as donate to the Foundation. The Foundstion itself is regarded as one of the highest non profit organizations in the world.
No lawyer would take this case to court as there's no evidence she has done any wrong. It's also why this story will not hurt her standing over Trump. Making a story from nothing. The only thing these donors got was a damn response from Hillary and that's that.

Trump supporters dislike every video with Hillary in the title to create this narrative that "likes, views and huge crowds" show Trump is actually winning.

All of this corrupt stuff aside, I admire Hillary more than people may think. She is truly a remarkable person and has never changed her values her entire career. (If you disagree, you can literally go way back. She was talking about money in politics since the 90s. This isn't new for her.)
Also her campaign is the 1st one I've paid attention to and she'll be the 1st person and woman for POTUS I would have casted a ballot for. I'm a Political Science major thanks to her. So I really hate when people come for her. I will def credit her as an inspiration when I am successful in the near future.
