If that's the case, you should talk with Alongoria. His favorite Madonna album is Hard Candy so you can tell he's drawn toward ratchet nonsense. He lives for photos like this.

Lemme pull a Humoresque here
If you could choose one **AND ONLY ONE ** song from Madonna's catalogue to be re-recorded AND released as a single for her next album, which song would you choose ?

UGH what a good idea!
Lemme look at ha catalogue...
*looks*

hmmm

It's hard because a lot of the songs I'd love to have seen as singles are songs I wouldn't alter at all. It would have to be something that I think had potential but didn't quiiite make it there. And not something that's so good that I'd be disappointed by her present-day video budget.
BEASTWITHIN you sly dog I'll need to think about this for a while.

Over and Over. I'd choose THAT song to be re-recorded and released as a single during the next era.

guys, whats your opinion on the constant shade madonna has to go through? i dont mean just the childish nonsense gaga fans do because they're insecure (see the g.u.y. video thread), i'm talking about the age remarks she gets all the time. cher doesnt get them. bowie and prince didnt. mj didnt. they only give them to madonna because she's a successful woman and I think people are jealous their fav dont have the career she has, but i find it bizarre how people rant about racism, sexism, and are PC about everything, but when it comes to age all bullying is allowed. everyone just attacks her and seems free to do so. what is it about madonna that makes people so powerful when they feel they can mock her? i also wonder what it is about madonna not being allowed to have a joke about another artist or shade someone, but when someone does it to her, they all think it's funny? why is madonna seen as some person they can just let out their frustrations about? am i only seeing the negative? is it just me? i feel like mariah can shade whoever she wants and gets applauded, but madonna cant. mariah also doesnt get ageist comments, neither did many other artists, but madonna gets them all the time.
it's like she's a punching bag.
i wonder how you guys deal with it. you just brush it off or do you defend her? same for inaccurate comments Pop makes here about madonna all the time. I always feel the need to defend her. I know he partly wants me to, because then he can warn me, but I hate the thought of people believing his nonsense, so I give into the bait.
end rant.

only insecure and ugly people attacks madonna.
mostly bc they're mad she's still relevant and still a threat to their basic and cheap faves.
and they're yelly bc she's the best-selling female aka THE queen of Pop.

The reason why Madonna can't get away with the things she says and does without people getting up in arms is because deep down they take her seriously. She's not a caricature or a cartoon character, she's someone who is clearly intelligent and artistic and capable of having a coherent, adult conversation. Last year she said in an interview that Picasso was allowed by the public and media to continue making art into his seventies and this lovable but bitter old hipster queen I used to work with was like "UGH, WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS?" And that's really what it comes down to. Madonna says what she wants and she takes the space she feels like taking and she means all of it, and a lot of people can't handle that because they're incapable of doing it themselves.
I can critique a lot of things Madonna does, but I would only do it with fans to be honest. With a fan, you can actually have an intelligent discussion, there's an unspoken understanding that you love this artist and support them and will continue to support them. I can't talk about any misgivings I have with her career or public persona with someone who doesn't *get it* because there won't be any nuance or engaging feedback in that conversation most likely. It'll just be like "yeah lol she sucks now" and you're pushed to defend her in a way that makes you look like a blind fan because they're not going to sit around while you go through all the ins and outs of your feelings, they want shorthand and so you're going to give the most positive shorthand possible. At least that's what happens with me.
The age stuff? In thirty years these girls today will be allowed to be vital and sexy and rebellious and have FUN and it'll be because of the barriers Madonna is pushing against now. That, or they (and their fans) will be dismissed by the next generation with as much thoughtlessness, and they'll wonder why no one thinks they're important anymore. In both cases, we (and Madonna of course) get the last laugh. And I'd also love to quote a review of Rebel Heart last year that responded to the jokes made about Madonna at the Brit Awards: having your designer cape malfunction during a complicated routine on the stage of a major awards program isn't the same thing as 'granny taking a tumble'.

Very little of the "shade" Madonna receives on ATRL is rooted in legitimate criticism, but instead in ignorance (the very young/ill-informed) or prejudice (sexists/trolls). It's not really something you should bother getting worked up over - Madge will be fine, dear.

Ok,my game flopped harder than Turn Up The Radio so,lemme ask it ,at least.
I'd pick Time Stood Still.
I think it still has a lot to do with Madonna and an overall great message,in a way that a lot of people can relate to . All that plus it's a superb song .

It's interesting how ageism isn't taken seriously - I guess it's like the next frontier, currently society is 100% organised and set up to treat people differently because of their age, every workplace, university and pretty much every industry. Youth is god, and the suggestion that later years might not be all bad is unfathomable - let alone amazing AND sexy.
Madonna has turned this theory on its head - she was a rebellious and outspoken young woman, and she is now a rebellious and outspoken older woman. She hasn't changed to accommodate the expectations of society, and she has remained intelligent, aware and successful throughout the entire period.
Basically she makes people feel uncomfortable - and rather than admit that people go on the offensive and lash out at her, and try to bring her down rather than ponder what it is exactly about her that gets people riled.
While it sucks for now, just think about how legendary Madonna is going to be remembered. And we are the fans that stood by her. Erotica might've been the toughest moment of her career, but from now on might just trump that - will we stand by her when she's 70 and wants to undress on stage? Or will we tell her she's "too old"?

p.s. "Ghosttown" remains the MOST underrated thing she's done since American Life.

***RUMOR***
According to some insiders seems that Madonna has ceded to the pressures of Interscope Records. It seems that in September Madonna will enter in the recording studio to work on her new album, which will be released by the summer of 2017.The president of Interscope absolutely wants to recover the money spent on the production of “Rebel Heart”, went up in smoke seen the scarce results of the disc. That one will follow should be Madonna’s last recording project under Interscope Records.
