Its not racist to assume somebody would prefer chips from their native country! People get so silly over racial issues these days. If she said that to an Australian regards some Aussie specific snack nobody would care. Or assumed a Scot would prefer haggis flavored chips nobody would care.

I will say that James never seems proud of his Asian roots though and almost seems ashamed.
