The way the kittens keep bringing up the viewers record as if all the millions of people tuned in just to watch her 12-minute performance. It's a ****ing sports event.
Gaga's VMA performance is the only logical answer.
I'd love to see the studies you conducted to come to this conclusion
It's just common sense I've literally never seen/heard anyone talk about that VMA performance in 5 years, hell it's not even discussed on ATRL thinking more people remember it than Katy's HT show is delusion at its finest

Quote:
Two days after the halftime show, the Guinness World Records announced that Perry's performance garnered 118.5 million viewers in the United States, and became the most watched and highest rated show in Super Bowl history. The viewership was higher than the game itself, which was viewed by an audience of 114.4 million

Except it's not common sense. I posted an article from literally just 2 days ago talking about it. I can just as easily say that I've literally never seen/heard anyone talk about Katy's performance since it happened.
Videos popped up of Katy's right after it happened.
That video you posted of Gaga's is from 2014, 5 years later. Videos were taken down constantly at the time and the only place you could watch was on the MTV site.
