Yeah, I feel bad when I see people questioning Hillary's position on gay rights 'cause when Bill and Hill moved into the White House in '93, they were the most pro-gay people to ever live there. And now that Hill's got the most pro-gay platform in political history...

I remember Bill had to apologize for DADT a few years ago. He shouldn't have had to do that. DADT was actually very progressive for it's time, and it was somewhat helpful to same-sex oriented people in the military. People also forget that Bill wanted to let gays serve openly, but opposition from both parties forced the DADT compromise. Even the compromise was better than what we had before, though.

People ought to consider historical context when discussing past action.

People dragging Hill (and others) for voting for the War on Iraq also seem to be unable to grasp the context of the times. Like, I was 9 years old in 2002, but I remember that at the time saying you opposed the war was tantamount to saying you were un-American, didn't support the troops, etc. Nationalism was at a record high back then, and people were clamoring for war. Add on to that that Hill represented NYC, the people who actually experienced the terrorist attack firsthand...

Bill's biggest flaws were the crime bill (which was not his fault and the beloved Joe Biden's bill and actually did some good things), not killing Bin Laden (totally understandable tho), and the terrible DOMA which truly was trash.

Hmm. I disagree. His lead is currently 5.8 according to RCP. This month alone he's had a lead by 2-13. But most around 5-6 as the average shows.

You're forgetting that Murphy and Grayson are still in a primary so when Murphy actually wins he would have consolidated most the base making the race closer. And I don't think Trump is done bringing everyone down with him.

Right now 15-20% support Grayson, 40-45% Patrick, and over 40% remain undecided between the two. So as you can see it's like when Trump led Hillary when she was still battling Bernie.

i don't think it's that big. Usually it should be around 3-5 cars all black vehicles with no sirens unless there's a major event . Day-to-day, when Hillary is laying low like today, the team would be one car in front, one car in the back for a total of 3 low profile black SUVs. The Swat cars are usually reserved for either someone super super important that's already been elected (President Obama for example) or some super vain A-lister.

Maybe Obama or Biden? Or some foreign head of state.

No matter how many times you say this, it won't take away from the fact that Hillary is the biggest woman in politics ever. She was running stuff behind the scenes of Bill's administration and his presidency and campaigns saved the Democratic Party from what we're kind of experiencing with the GOP now. There would be no Obama or Bernie without his leadership.

He served two terms. The 1st Dem to do it since FDR 50 years earlier, and Hillary has dominated the 21st century ever since. She's going to be the 1st woman POTUS. So clearly this exaggeration of her not being progressive or an overall good public figure, which we were talking about, is false. That's like saying, "Oh Madonna is controversial so she shouldn't be considered a great music artist." Comparing apples and oranges and you know it.

I think it will look both opportunistic and actually hurts the state in the longrun. Louisiana now has to divert precious resources to the nominees and appeasing their whims. It's why Obama isn't there and why Hillary isn't there. It's not responsible to do that. It's literally just a vain photo-op.

Nobody labels her as a victim. She's a fighter. She's strong enough to never let the attacks stop her. That doesn't mean that the GOP hasn't smothered her image with 25 years of ********.

No she does not lie "a ton". She lies as much as any politician. In fact she's one of the most honest politicians out there, with only Barack Obama being slightly more honest than she is. Every fact checker corroborates this argument, so I'm not wasting my time arguing facts.

Many people, including you apparently, confuse lack of transparency with dishonesty. One only has to look at her relationship with the media to understand this. Every single thing she says is scrutinized, more so than any other politician out there.

Many of her critics like you view her as receiving special treatment, when she has always been treated differently, held to some ridiculous standard, and most importantly scrutinized for DARING to be a strong-willed woman in politics.

"Corruption" is a pretty broad term that many people use haphazardly. In its most basic sense, corruption is about dishonest practices for one's own gain. Clinton has not exhibited overt displays of that behavior, although it would be naive to imply that no politician is corrupt. She is no more corrupt than any other person.

All in all, she's just as bad as every politician in terms of the negative traits, but has actually gotten **** done, which still makes her better than almost any other politician out there, much less Trump and Co.

Hillary said she was monitoring the issue like 2 days ago what exactly is she supposed to do go rescue people? She met with a panel of police officers yesterday to discuss criminal justice and policing and she had rallies in crucial swing states as well. Shes doing what she has to do as a nominee. Trump is doing it for a show he doesn't give a ____ about the crisis.
