She always gets a good number of positive reviews upon release (save for BJ for the most part, and I believe Britney as well), but most of her greater acclaim seems to be in hindsight for some reason. Upon release, I don't think anyone expected Blackout to be as highly regarded in a greater scope as it came to be.
I'm no music expert but it sounds off key (?) (I don't know the right term) and it just sounds blegh and messy to me. It's probably some fancy musical technique but I don't really like it
It is definitely in key, but is also meant to sound slightly dissonant. That is why I said it sounds like B&A. They do that a lot, especially with guitar sounds, in their pop production. The guitar is most ear catching part for me.
It's funny how she uses the "like anything I've ever done" and "very different" so much for everything but she hasn't use that description for this era and this actually sounds really different from anything she's ever done
OMG she's back to #2 in pre-orders
Florida whatever, Barbara are lower
there are 2 other versions charting too
Sorry to ask again, but where can I see where the album is on Pre-orders? I've noticed it's not like it used to be on iTunes where it would just show up with the regular albums.
