The thing is - if two really were better than one, I could obviously easily add another person in to co-host for me. But I have no reason to because I don't need to. I'm fully committed on my own. Beyonce would be proud

Not Drip being a cohost just because he posts the finale challenge (as Michelle Visage does in the actual show). PH is a much bigger game than DR, but DR is still a larger than average game. Eliminations would likely be very similar to how they've been in previous seasons, cutting groups of people as necessary depending on how many submissions we get. It's not like every other season of PH had single eliminations.
If Moonie and I cohost, DR3 will be pushed back to the new year. I know I couldn't do both at the same time. And if we're comparing judging experience, I win there, as well. I've judged ANTM, LES ATRLers, Drag Race of course, ATRL Election, ATRL Song Contest, etc etc. As for time constraints, I've run two seasons of slasher games, which demand 24-hour updates at a minimum. Both of those seasons ended successfully, so I don't see why this wouldn't.

I've already said in a reply to Cupid that I'm totally down to think on my feet and be adaptable throughout the season (the challenges question is the one I'm referring to). Obviously, the most important thing is ensuring that the contestants are enjoying it and feeling that it's a good learning experience for them - if they don't, I'd obviously adapt things and be able to put my ego aside. I can totally handle the heat

I do think the purpose of PH is to find the best writer on ATRL, but I also think it should bring out the best in all the writers. I think PH is as much of a journey as it is a game. It's obviously a competition, but I want to make each contestant the best writer they can be. We'll do this by emphasizing skill-building challenges that apply to all styles of songwriting and encouraging creativity across the board.

As someone with professional training in improv and a regular performer, I'm quite adept at rolling with the punches.

If you're so capable - why in the world are you leaning on Moonchild's shoulder? You sound so confident in post but your actual actions beg to differ.

As far as experience goes - you're proving nothing by listing everything. The last 4 hosts of PH have all been first time hosts, and they all pulled it off

Two heads are better than one. There isn't weakness is relying on a partner or a friend. The two of us together will be able to do more than we could on our own, and I'm not ashamed of that.

Two can be better than one. I would like to experience a guy with a vagina.

I don't know why you can't comprehend that this is a cohosting gig, not me hosting while Moonchild pushes my wheelchair. Confidence is recognizing your weaknesses and addressing them, as I've done by putting together a two-person ticket. It'd be cute if you addressed your weakness of not being able to properly critique songs that aren't #serious enough for you (ie. Father, a song that scored two 9s from judges who were able to judge based on writing ability). Or your weakness of not being able to draw in and maintain a tournament audience beyond 11 pages, which, unfortunately, IS an issue because there is always a middle period where contestants want to quit.

I'll be a first-time host, too. Ta-da! Is that enough fresh blood for you?

The dual hosting thing is the only part I don't get either.
In theory it's easier but in my experience it was actually a lot more difficult. They mentioned improv and making snap decisions on your feet, but with 2 hosts you both have to agree on something and that would require you both being online at the same time (which didn't happen during this debate :eyes: )

I'm not proving, I'm reminding everyone of my past performances. You can dislike it, but the difference between us is that I have a track record at all.

Four hands are faster than two - but two heads are not better than one. As Cupid pointed out, there seems to be some differing ideas and potential miscommunication between the two of you. Highly questionable, if you ask me. Dual hosts is totally complicating the whole thing. It's much easier to have one person host and run the game.
