There hasn't been any formal introduction to the Cinderella characters with the exception of Cinderella herself, her prince, and Anastasia (Red Queen from Once Upon A Time in Wonderland). Like I said, they did do a brief backstory on Anastasia, who would later become the Red Queen, but it was very small introducing those characters. So it will be interesting if that means we are going to see her again. They need to tell what happened to her since they brought in Will Scarlett and now Jafar.
Also it would be pretty cool if they brought in Anastasia since Cora was her mentor. Anastasia was literally the daughter that Cora wished she had. However I will say Anastasia had her own villainous deeds but does not compare to Regina or Zelena when it comes to being a bad bitch. Her stuff looks like child's play in comparison to both of them.

Also agree, if Cora taught Anastasia magic i was surprised she didnt have a greater role in the series. Was there not one point when cora deemed her necessary for some plot / scheme ?

You make a very good point.
They never actually directly reveal why Cora wanted to take Anastasia under her wing. I always got the impression however she saw herself in Anastasia which made her want to teach her. Cora found the daughter that she never had in her. Cora always wanted to be queen and wanted her daughter to be queen. Regina fought this while Anastasia accepted this. Also, they revealed that Cora did not see eye to eye with the Red King. If the new queen rose up and got him out of the picture, then that will be more power in Cora's court. Still it was never directly stated what her motives were.
Just caught up with the last few episodes and I will just say the entire Underworld arc was a big flat ponitless mess. If they really wanted to kill Robin and put Belle under a sleeping curse they could have done it without all that crap.
However, the last two episodes kinda saved the season and definitely made me excited to keep watching after all.

Also, I don't know who has seen this or who hasn't, but both Lana and Robert have gotten haircuts, and they have BOTH been filming with them! Rumple now has VERY short hair, and Lana looks like she did in maybe season two. I wonder what the explanation for this will be? I REALLY want to see the two of them going to get their hair cut together or something funny like that.
I'm so ready for September 25th. Can it come any sooner!!!
I'm really feeling like there's too many elements, so it's very likely to be a mess with the storylines of each characters. It's a good thing they quitted the SA/SB thing but i'm afraid that won't be enough.
Once Upon a Time has really disappointed for about one and a half year It's like magic was gone from that show. It remains my favorite show ever and I consider the first 3 seasons as masterpieces
I was thinking the same thing. Like she can finally have a sister to do bad things with and not have to pretend to be good. Lol. Either that or she will split herself because her sister did it. Lol. I love Zelena because she's so ******* crazy.
I'm probably going to be watching this at least a month later, annoyingly enough... I'll have to avoid this thread for the spoilers. I hope this season is better!
Don't get me wrong, I love OUAT and it's still my favorite show, but a lot of it is just Buffy rehashes.... Emma and Killian are a lot like Buffy and Spike but WAY less "in danger," if that makes any sense. Emma and Killian went right for each other WAY too quickly in my opinion. There hasn't been a time when Emma has let her walls down completely for Killian; it's all just kind of bland. Of course, Emma has dealt with some pretty bad things with him, like him dying 10000000 times, but it's all been temporary. Her best moment is in "Birth" when she turns Killian into a Dark One. I hate saying this, but compared to Buffy, OUAT is kind of... bland. Where are the strong, heartbreaking scenes in OUAT?!! Other than Neal's death, that scene in "Birth," and when Emma turns into the Dark One at the end of season four, and maybe even Regina splitting herself. There just hasn't been an "omg!!! this is so painful yet emotional moment!!!" in my opinion. Please feel free to comment on this! Willow turning dark at the end of season six is a lot like Regina at the end of last season, but Adam and Eddy said "wait, we were just trying to make you think it was going to be like the end of BTVS season six, but it's actually not," so they included a twist with Regina "going dark." Sorry about my bad grammar. Also, Willow tells her lover, "I will always find you," which I'm SURE OUAT borrowed from Buffy. Thoughts on that? For those of you who have seen Buffy. What other similarities? I'll probably think of more later.
That being said, though, I can't wait for the premiere. This is going to be an amazing season.
