Hmm no, it's all amazing. His best is still La differenza tra me e te and it's uptempo. On average his slower songs are probably better, but I don't think it's a big difference.
Spanish versions of his first three albums are now being added to iTunes/Spotify, should appear at midnight in each country.
I wonder why they're doing this, adding the Spanish versions, I wonder does Carosello Records own the rights to the Spanish albums as well?
I tried to recreate him in anime style and I thought to myself I'll create his outfit he wore in his Lazio Gay Pride video, didn't work out too well, the jumper isn't the right colour, it's more a cream jumper that he's wearing in the video and the jumper isn't the right one either, it looks like a turtleneck in that anime pic and it's a stripy jumper that's he's wearing with no turtleneck collar, oh well, I tried.
Tarantola d'Africa is one of Tiziano's best songs, full stop, but why is he comparing himself and his life to an African Tarantula? Is he saying that he's ugly on the outside and isn't liked that much by other people?
Because all the people who are not famous are "beautiful ladybirds", this song would have had to be written during his depression, wouldn't it have?
E dentro che succede
Se il cuore ha troppa sete
E fuori ti diverti ma nessuno me lo chiede
Quanto è facile pensare al sole
Come una distrazione
E maturando il mio dolore
Mi trasformo in attrazione
Catturato per mia distrazione
Scelta o imposizione
Ripetermi con convinzione
Che la vita da qui sarebbe stata migliore
Ma il migliore non resiste
E quanto è bello quanto è triste
Dimenticarsi che il dolore esiste
Che il dolore esiste
Tarantulas look amazing though. They're always an attraction at zoos. I think he chose the tarantula because everyone wants to come look at them but you can't get close to them.
Got six rates in That's probably all we're gonna get.
"Mi Credo", Tiziano's collaboration with Pepe Aguilar, was ranked last almost unanimously. The duet was recorded for the Mexican version of Big Brother and released in 2005. Pepe was very happy to record with Tiziano, who was still a big star in Mexico at the time.
Quote:
"This is the first duet I have made in my life," Aguilar says. "And it's the first song Tiziano performs that he hasn't written. So I'm very, very happy."
"I'm not into duets," Aguilar admits. "I don't like them very much. But [with] Tiziano, it's something different."
The song did not have much chart success. It's Tiziano's only single with no Italian equivalent, and would remain his only single with no writing credit until 2013's "La Fine".
Next up is the first of Tiziano's three English singles, "Universal Prayer" with Jamelia. The song was part of the official soundtrack of the 2004 Summer Olympics. It's his only song as main artist that was not produced by longtime collaborator Michele Canova. Instead, production was handled by Norwegian team Stargate, who would later become huge internationally with hits such as "Irreplaceable" and "Only Girl (In The World)".
"Universal Prayer" was a hit across Europe, reaching #1 in Italy, Spain and Greece.
Tiziano's always been a huge fan of rap music and was very vocal about his love for Marracash's album King Del Rap. He jumped at the chance to record a song with him, which became the moody ballad "Senza Un Posto Nel Mondo". Even though the song is not catchy and doesn't work on radio, Marracash's label decided to release it as a single in late 2015 with a new remix. It was not received well and the song flopped.
