Critic scores are tricky. Let me explain. Imagine a kid getting a 90/100 on his basic math exam, and a masters student (like myself) getting an 85/100 on his thesis.
90 is obviously higher than 85, but they were both scored on different things, within their own capacities. Carly Rae Jepsen and Lana Del Rey should never be compared because the latter's music is simply more sophisticated.
