MCV are reporting Mario and Pokémon are coming to NX before September 2017.

They need to release some "Complete" games in the first month since Wii U had so few sales. Give us SSB4 + DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Captain Toad, Hyrule Warriors + Hyrule Warriors Legends, Mario Kart 8 + DLC and that alone would make some quick money.

I will be beyond pissed if Nintendo thinks they can slide by with the NX by porting over Wii U games. I'm salty over Smash4 being ported so I really don't want any more. If the games weren't good enough to move Wii U units I'm not sure how they'd move NX units

I mean, at this point no one's going to buy any of those titles if they don't already have a Wii U, so they're not console sellers anymore. Might as well get the extra money from selling NX ports. I don't have an issue with this, as long as they don't try to make those ports the only NX games they offer

We're not getting a new Smash anytime soon so porting it over seems like the best idea.
They should release Mario Maker on NX as a game with in app purchases or something like that. Give them the basics but have them pay for the additional features. It would be HUGE.
A new Mario Kart and Splatoon sequel shouldn't that be that far off. It's kind of pointless porting those over when new entries are made extremely fast.
They should port Xenoblade X & release a Pikmin trilogy. Both those games flopped so they should port them over and hope someone buys them.

What's wrong with ports?

It allows great games to actually be on a console that has the ability to be successful. Instead of being deserted on Wii U island.

They're not designed to be console sellers. They exist to beef up the library.

Eh. I think they should port Smash for sure. Maybe Mario Maker and Splatoon but that's it.

They have released barely any new software in the last 15 months. The NX lineup better be packed.

I preordered it on Amazon and it came out to 20 bucks because I had Prime & Amazon shop points.

I really want a Pikmin trilogy because I haven't played any of the Pikmin games and want to. Having them all together would be so easy.
