Japan's Emperor Akihito has strongly indicated he wants to step down, saying he fears his age will make it difficult to fulfil his duties.
The revered 82-year-old emperor's comments came in only his second-ever televised address to the public.
Emperor Akihito did not explicitly say he wanted to abdicate as he is barred from making political statements.
PM Shinzo Abe said the government would take the remarks "seriously" and discuss what could be done.

I used to be obsessed with J-Pop and kinda Japan, but since living there I've realized it is a really great country - but has just as many flaws as everywhere else, so I don't idealize it. That being said, if you were wealthy and lived in a great place in Tokyo, you would have one of the most amazing ever lives.

I'm in Japan now. Everyone here is really hot, but so short and everyone is so fashionable The clothing stores clothing are all way too small for me to be able to wear Using the subway was also a pain in the ass since no one speaks in English

On the bright side I downloaded Grindr for the first time and I got 4 messages within 5 minutes Is everyone here really thirsty or something?

this is going to sound really mean, and i do apologize but your white worshipping is insufferable. It wouldnt be so much as a problem if you didnt perpetuate stereotypes such as referring to yourself as "submissive" when asian men are constantly trying to get away from that stereotype. It makes you sound desperate for a green card.

and maybe im not the one to talk since im a rice queen but i would never reduce an asian person to making them seem less than a white person and i wouldnt make gross assumptions that asians worship white people even if some do

He's always been like that, he also tries so hard to be controversial and edgy. It has gotten so annoying to the point I blocked him He calls himself a submissive gay but proceeds to call the gays 'roaming freely with their twinkle toes'.

did you guys see his post about how Asian people were the best in everything and have superior intelligence to every other race

While i do give the asian community props in their advancements in science, math, the arts, and infrastructure, to have someone blatantly declare his race to be the best is troubling

its like, on one hand he fetishizes the dominant white man and submissive asian stereotype while also claiming asians are superior to everyone else

he may be the first member i ever put on my ignore list because, as messy and trollish as I am in race related threads, i would never put down other races to build mine up
