Stay had magic and Ekko's beautiful writing. These songs that you mentioned are nothing but cheap versions of Stay. It doesn't mean something bad, but I think it means they don't have the spark that Stay had when she performed it on SNL.

Honestly, this is super unlikely but she could revive the single by performing at the VMAs and releasing a remix as well as the colored version of the video at the same day.

The iTunes position is actually quite good and It's the obvious choice for the next international single.
She would have to wait until Needed Me slows down on Pop though, I'm not here for the latter killer another potential pop hit.

She doesn't perform Never Ending and Close to you on tour which makes me think that neither will be released /performed /whatever. (Close to you @ Grammys would be great tho)
Also I think she won't release Sex with me at all, maybe only to urban radio in USA (without filming the video). It will be Raining Man/Cockiness / Right now if ever released.
LOTB is the only choice for the fall and the era is over tbh.
Let's just hope she will show up at the VMAs, promote LOTB (when released) and for a Grammy performance next year.
