They're not going to pay top dollar for a new banner and top tracks placement, meaning if it was released on Friday, it would be overshadowed by other releases. It's not like the songs have a shot at a #1 debut so it's not that important that they don't have a full-week first release.
Hopefully that means Liar is the second single and not an instant grat. She really kills her singles when they're released as instant grats.

I wonder if at this stage in the game they are just going to release Make me, Private show and 3 songs that are potentially the most single friendly best songs to see how they fare.
I say this because in this era streams and sales will count towards an album sales and it's better she release these songs to the public to garner interest but also see the temperature for future references.

That's a good thing. It means her team is anticipating guarding her form the most typical leak source, which is a blogger or editor that doesn't really care about leaks and sends the songs to friends, etc.
I also expect we'll get the album previews around the same time the reviews start pouring in.
