Replayed Y as my first nuzlocke run ever and it makes the game soooo much harder, emotional, and exhilarating. Seeing babies you raised 30+ levels lose the life from their eyes is crushing. Scared af to try going through victory road and the elite 4 atm.
Edit: It's also really cool catching, using and bonding with pokemon you wouldn't otherwise ever give a chance! I now have a new love and appreciation for Vanilluxe.
I refuse to use a Pokémon just because it is a powerhouse. There is no soul in that. Yuck.
Refusing to use a Pokémon just because it isn't "cute & adorable " is just as bad. All looks & zero substance smells like no soul to me as well. My original point was, in the battling world, aesthetics doesn't matter as much as usefulness.

Same. I don't necessarily go for the most beautiful or cutest pokémon but just the one whose design I find interesting and nice looking; and since I don't play competitively, I don't care about stats.
