You really can't blame the lack of radio deal for its floppage tbh. Even if there was no radio deal, radios should be latching onto a brand new Katy track. I'm not expecting insane numbers but the current pop updates are really mediocre.
Same for its Spotify performance. Yeah, there was the Apple Music exclusive thing. Still, the fact that she's not even charting in the top 200 now is embarrassing.
Not trying to be negative here but the reason for Rise's underperformance is not her team. It's the song (as much as I love it). It's just not meant to be a hit.
