I said the Dems were the party in charge of govt, since the President who is a Dem is the head of the Exec branch. I didn't intend to say it was a monarchy, which is irrelevant to my point in the 1st place.

You said the POTUS is implementing Dem. principles. No, he's not. He's trying too. You're failing to acknowledge that he is limited by Congress in what he does. And since Congress is ran by the Reps. he can only do so much.

This is not true. Which is what we have been debating. I don't give a damn about a Wikileaks and how you feel about the DNC, because you've been proven wrong on that as well.

DNC is private and can run their organization however they want. If Bernie, as an Independent, had a problem with it, he shouldn't have jumped on their platform.

The POTUS can only do so much when Congress is ran by the opposing party. Nothing you've said over the past 3 pages have any merit or logic behind it.

Not legally, but DNC charter states the party is supposed to be neutral. So even if they aren't accountable to the GP they are accountable to their membership to be fair.

From Wikileaks standpoint, corruption in the party's election is a kin to manipulating the govt's election process due to the two-party system and is goes in hand with their mission statement.

Of course the DNC was going to be biased. HRC has been a Dem. her entire career and has done so much for the party and it's respective members. Bernie shows up bitching the whole time, while trying to ride the party ticket to the WH. And then has the nerve to try and sue them. Good for them for sticking by the person who holds Democratic values at heart instead of using the party to get what they want. I don't blame them.

What don't you get about this? They don't rule the govt as a whole, they are only in charge/have influence over parts of the govt, fine I agree with you. But, the conversation is about whether or not Wikileaks should be leaking private info and if the DNC is accountable to the GP similar to a govt entity.

yeah i really don't get it.

i mean i'm not defending their actions because some of it was messy to say the least but why is anyone surprised? she's been a democrat for years, and a majority of the potential democrat nominees bowed out of this year's race out of respect because everyone wanted hillary until an independent came around

they could have treated him better but it's not like they ruined his chance at the presidency nom. hillary won by herself.

First of all, Wikileaks didn't hack anyone the info was given to them. They have shown no bias in the situation, they are only leaking what they have.

I didn't comment on the impartiality, I commented on the public interest of the information due to the Dems influence over the govt.

They are not allowed to be biased towards any candidate according to their own rules. Two previous DNC chairs already came out and denounced what happened.
