It's not a "ruling" entity. It's an organization representing those that share a common set of ideals, allowing them to run for the roles to "rule" the government.

There is no argument you can make. None whatsoever, especially since the motive for this was outright stated to be vengeance by Assange.

Google and Facebook are not running the government creating laws that effect all of our lives. When you elect a candidate, the people are choosing what laws they want to live under. When the DNC plays games, they subvert democracy especially when the two parties basically shut out 3rd candidates.

I understand the point that you're trying to make but your original statement was wrong...the DNC and the RNC are both private organizations...they are allowed to set their own rules that are not subject to being Governed just as any other political party.

Did I say that? But I love how you all are focusing on word choice as opposed to the DNC's corruption. No one is saying the President controls everything. The point is that role has influence over people's lives and they deserve a fair choice of who that person is.

Neither statement is true tho. Congress has more power than the President so know party is the 'ruling party' unless they hold both Congress and the Presidency, especially not when our politics is so divided.

Or have you not been paying attention to the Republican-controlled Congress that's been obstructing Obama since Day One?

And while it's true that the President has some influences due to their political party affliation, it doesn't always help since they only have so much power to influence policies (just look at Obama fighting tooth and nail with the Republicans).
