Mine was glitching. Whenever I clicked on a Pokemon it only showed me Bulbasaur and I had to slide to see the rest, but it wouldn't show me their full picture/stats
omg, this has me scared, since you're not the first person to post about this Have you made certain you have the right google/ptc account? And also it's not the servers being weird when they make it seem like you're lv 1 and you have to close out and reload?
Some people also apparently lost device compatibility altogether.
It's all good! It logged in to my professional google account instead of my gaming one! Just had to log out and sign in to the correct one, no dramas!

For the first few days they showed how far a Pokemon "nearby" was away.
Between 0, 1, 2 and 3 steps. So you knew if you were going in the right direction.
Was very much fun to track them that way, but then it just stopped working and showed everything at all times 3 steps away.
I hate Niantics for killing Pokevision. They should have fixed their glitchy buggy nearby map before shutting down vision. Now I don't want to waste 4-5 hours of my day walking around aimlessly catching rats, bats and ostriches.
Niantic is such an awful company, 0 communication with the players and they just remove the nearby steps completely with no addressing the issue really... It's also tiring seeing the same pokemon all the time everywhere
