Arceus is REAL ya'll
After a week of almost nothing but Eevees and Pinsirs (both decent, but I routinely catch ones with good IVs anyway), I FINALLY hatched a Lapras from a 10km egg. The IVs were decent enough (75-80% range) + it had Ice Shard and Blizzard, so I put all my stardust & lapras candy that was included into it right away. Dragonites are NAWT safe
Just evolved a 15/14/15 Kabutops, it's nearly perfect except it has Fury Cutter/Ancient Power (I was hoping for Stone Edge), but ah well, it's tied with my Nidoking for highest IVs, so I really can't complain. Which makes me wonder, do any of ya'll have a 100% 15/15/15 Pokemon?
I only need about 10 more Magikarps to evolve one of mine, tho I have the current dilemma of having a solid IV(80ish), high cp magikarp, and a fairly low level, seemingly incredible (95-100%) IV one that would cost more to raise. I have the opposite dilemma with Charmander, Bulbasaur & NidoranF, where I have enough candy gathered for Charizard, Venusaur and Nidoqueen, but my current best ones are in the 50-60% IV range

I generally shoot for 85+ish before powering up for a fairly common mon, 80+ for an uncommon one (my new Arcanine), and around mid 70s at the minimum for EXTREMELY uncommon ones (my Lapras & Chansey) or ones which are pretty much impossible to hatch (starters, for me).
I've only been Pidgey/Weedle Spamming / spending COINS on egg incubators for the stardust, and grinding in highly populated areas for the last several days (even while on the clock at work

x2), so I haven't really had the chance to challenge a lot of gyms to test the balance. That said, I just appreciate the idea that they're paying attention to balancing. I do agree that it's unnerving how quickly they can flip things on you tho: for example, I had a 93% Chansey and a 80ish CP one. I transferred the first one because it had Zen Headbutt/Psychic (the latter has 55 BP / 2 charges) in favor of the weaker one, due to it having Dazzling Gleam (55 BP /
3 charges). I'm also always here for more ways to hit Dragonite given how common they are in gyms here, and if our pokemon transfer to Gen 2 I'm already semi-prepared for the strong dragon and dark type additions. I will be seething tho, if Dazzling Gleam gets a big nerf.
