moonstruck was a local overrated mess. fatal attraction is a WW classic. cher's performance is forgotten just like the movie itself, whereas close's is THE modern standard for overacting psycho female characters. anyone with a little knowledge when it comes to the awards season knows that the academy only gave cher the oscar because of the backlash they received after not giving her a nod for Mask (her greatest, CANNES winner, performance) in 85.
