I cringe every time he calls her Crooked Hillary....
like, grow the fk up. Do people want a president like that?
A brain of a 5 year old?

Exactly! He can't even discuss in depth regarding each issue that is addressed Compare his statements on issues with those from the Democrat party (Hillary and Bernie) and even from his own party (Cruz, Carson & Kasich). It is more than evident that this man is uneducated and misinformed to the max.
Literally, what is the difference between the Kardashians and Trump? They're both business monguls and reality television stars. The only difference is that Trump has been exposed countless times (including Hillary's speech) as a business fraud and the Kardashians have not.

Primary polls are a lot less accurate than general election polls.

Also interesting, a lot of people were wondering why typically liberal sites like r/politics were so anti-Clinton. It turns out for whatever reason Millennials just hate her and her demographic just isn't really on the internet like that.
31% of Millennials have a favorable view of Clinton, almost underwater in favorability

i can't at the youth.. but hey they stan for weed wielding popstars who sell their bodies and occasionally do a soft-**** music video to go along with it.. so the corrupt youth, would certainly favor trashy politicians or those that aren't even politicians, but yet, most of their faves aren't musicians or singers either.. so whatever works for y'all.

Also a platform change is a given at this point. It's not even worth discussing as they literally have to so they will.

This has no basis in reality, especially considering that's what everyone thought they would do after 2012, even their infamous autopsy report told them to do so, and they still didn't. As long as they are ruled by evangelicals and nationalists, their social views and immigration views aren't changing anytime soon, and so they're doomed for the immediate future.

But they've already had 2 losses in a row...
This will be their third.
Again, I think you have much too much faith in the intelligence and practicality of the Republican Party. Their voters this year soundly rejected sanity and the only candidate who has moderate views on immigration, Marco Rubio. Even if the party elite changes, the voters will just grab an outsider again like this year.

A lot of Republicans don't think immigration reform will be beneficial to them. After Regan's amnesty they only got like 25% the Hispanic vote in the very next election. Their highest was 44%, but that was mostly b/c of the war. Latinos are just naturally Dem and they don't want more Dem voters.

Every state poll in the primary was close to be accurate but Nevada, Michigan, and California.
Nevada had little to no polling system. Michigan had a bad polling system. And California was so close because 1) It didn't take into account Hillary's support among older voters who voted early and 2) It's harder to poll Hispanics.
Polls are usually accurate. We should focus more on state by state polling rather than national polls tho. I kept telling y'all that 2+ margin with Hillary and Bernie was false. It's about the delegates of the states, or in this case the electoral votes. Hillary is in a far better position in the key swing states.

Her speech was optimistic, but it was just as empty on specifics and "how" as Trump speech was. The only specifics she gave was on ISIS. Her speech was mostly cliches and personal statements. It wasn't bad, but I remember people complaining Trump didn't say how he would do things, and she really didn't either.

To fix race relations, we have to listen to each other, not scapegoat and run from our problems. We have to listen to each other's concerns. It's not the political answer, but it's the truth. She also said there will be criminal justice reform.
On jobs, she will invest in infrastructure, manufacturing, comprehensive immigration reform, and clean energy jobs. She will invest in education and help relieve student loan debt. How will she pay for it? By taxing the wealthy and ending tax credit loopholes. You may not agree on if that will pay for it all, but that's her plan. She will also slap an exit tax on companies that ship jobs overseas, and will invest that in jobs here, particularly in start ups for small businessss.
She will increase wages by securing equal pay, increasing the minimum wage, paying for family and sick leave, and providing health care for all and tackling prescription drug costs and increasing Social Security and Medicare for the elderly.
On democracy and restoring faith in government, she will appoint SCOTUSes who will overturn Citizens United. If not, she will bring up a constitutional amendment.

That my friend is a vision, a message, and plans. Of course she won't go deep into the policy of it all on national television in her acceptance speech. But that's a clear contrast from "BUILD A WALL. BRING BACK JOBS FROM CHINA"
Were you not listening? She said how she would do everything she's promising.

Well you know I'm never one to praise Hillary on anything...but her speech sounded presidential compared to Trump's. Most people don't care about specifics, they care about tone. Her tone was hopeful, and optimistic...
Trump's speech sounded almost foreign and full of warning...like a pre WW2 isolationist speech. The opposite of "Make America Great Again".

It really isn't that different. Those are just declarative statements. There's no how behind them other a vague call to invest in things. Hillary want to create jobs by investing money into programs. Trump want to create a jobs by renegotiating trade deals. Neither went much deeper than that.

Well obviously he's not going to make it seem like everything is going great when he is the change candidate from the opposition party. That would be dumb.
I agree people care about tone, I was just making a point Hillary's was not that specific on policy either. But most people liked his speech and the polls show that so clearly it wasn't as depressing as people made it out to be.
