Saving every now and then is key. You could've tried again by reloading the game.

It would make sense since 5 is only 4 years away (according to the regular Sims cycle). But does that mean that TS5 will be console game first? That will ruin the whole game, and I don't think it's true since the game is way more popular among PC players.

And I think the Sims 1 would have the same amount of people browsing as the Sims 4 if it was possible to play it on current operating systems.
All The Sims 4 players are on tumblr People use modthesims for existing content, but not so much new content.
The Sims 4 has the highest playing stats, so it's not dead

This was reported all over different websites. However, the source is just simply that a new Sims game is registered to be released to console.
However, it's most likely just 'The Sims 3' port to Wii U that EA posted about the other day. That's all.
They also updated The Sims 3 page to include Wii U. It's an Open World kind of beach thing, with different controls.
No news when it's dropping though. EA, as per, is just seeing a $$$ opportunity and taking it.

Most people think The Sims 4 is good, hence why it's doing so well.
ATRL just stays stuck in the past as per
Go back to when The Sims 4 was just announced, and ATRL threw The Sims 3 under a bus.
Now it's all "oh bless The Sims 3" etc. and it will be "omg The Sims 4 " when all Ep's are released and The Sims 5 is released bare bones.
I think the one main thing I dislike about ts4 is the lack of family-oriented gameplay (the main reason I started playing the Sims all the way back during its first era). That's why I enjoyed 2 & 3. Even though they grew more complex, they still retained the witty quality of the game itself (though to a lesser extent in the Sims 3).
The Sims 4 is aesthetically amazing, but it lacks the instant fun I felt when I first played the other three gens. It feels very limited. Though yes, the sims 3 had its share of bugs, I didn't care as the gameplay more than made up for it. I'd rather have fun with a few bugs then good aesthetics with no entertainment.
