I thought Sanders speech was perfect. For about 10 minutes he focused on his campaign, his message. It looked like it could have been going horribly wrong. But he did that to reign his supporters in - then focused on Clinton. It was very well done.

There's laws to call for a special election to be had by election day just like there were for Warren. And there hasn't been a Republican elected to the Senate from New Jersey in 6+ decades. Though he wasn't the right choice regardless of if she had the full ability to make him her VP or not.
