The Office is an American television comedy series that aired on NBC from March 24, 2005 to May 16, 2013. This U.S. adaptation -- set at a paper company in Scranton, Pa. -- has a similar documentary style to that of the Ricky Gervais-led British original. It features the Dunder-Mifflin staff, which includes characters based on roles in the British show -- and, quite possibly, people with whom you work in your office. There's Jim, the likable employee who's a bit of an every man. Jim has a thing for receptionist-turned-sales-rep Pam -- because office romances are always a good idea! There's also Dwight, the co-worker who is successful but devoid of social skills and common sense.

Some people say the show went down-hill, I say it evolved. The dry sense of humor has prevailed throughout the years, but the problem is we grew attached to the characters. The bitchy Angela from Seasons 1 and 2 was great. But then we started rooting for her and Dwight. You feel for her. She became less of the "Christian office bitch" as the show went on. She isn't nearly as funny now, but it was inevitable. This is just an example.
The last season wrapped up the series in a pretty great way. It wasn't the same. The characters changed. You grew invested in the individual outcomes, and not JUST Jim and Pam. It was an emotional roller coaster - Venus Temple

30 Rock is an American satirical television sitcom created by Tina Fey that ran on NBC from October 11, 2006, to January 31, 2013. Based more-than-loosely on backstage shenanigans at "Saturday Night Live," "30 Rock" centers on young Liz Lemon, currently head writer for a live sketch-comedy show in New York. Complications follow when the network's new president orders Liz to hire mentally unstable movie star Tracy Jordan to join the cast, throwing neurotic leading lady (and Liz's best friend) Jenna Maroney into a tizzy. Liz tries to juggle all the egos around her while trying to chase her own dream.

Dexter is an American television crime drama mystery series that aired on Showtime from October 1, 2006, to September 22, 2013. Dexter Morgan is a Miami-based blood splatter expert who doesn't just solve murders; he commits them too. In fact, he's a serial killer -- but he only murders the guilty, so he feels justified with his lifestyle choices. His policewoman sister and his cop co-workers have no idea Dexter lives a double life; however, adoptive father Harry knows his secret, and does, in fact, help Dexter hone his "skills." It's a unique brand of justice for which charming Dexter feels a psychological hunger.

Seasons 1-4 are the best seasons of any Showtime show. Ever. 5-7 are mediocre, but watchable. Season 8 doesn't exist. - Venus Temple
