There is nothing that someone could not get about Carly's music or the songwriting she does.
It's as straight to the point and obvious as anything could be. It's just not interesting because the entire thing is vanilla and trite.

just look at godga's tfm or madonna's discography. that's the best female pop music can ever get. not carlos or meghan trainor and their kindergarten type of lyrics
Miss her sfm. I understand that she wanted to change and tried to evolve, but the change from TF/M to BTW was way too drastic, and from BTW to AP was just tragic. I feel like..there should have been an album/era in between each of those eras.
