Democrats in general used to have a poor record with the LGBTQ, but that's obviously not the case anymore, and that's what matters. He's a staunch catholic, religious people can be extreme sometimes, but again, what matters is that his position on that has obviously changed.

Definitely not, his policy positions are awful. We all know the best senator in the union would obviously be a democrat. Warren is the best one, in my opinion.

Hillary is too strong of a debater for that to happen. And it's still pretty unlikely Johnson even makes it to the debates, so.

I mean, as a moderate libertarian who hates both parties' pettiness I think Flake is a great moderate who has saved Arizona from impending doom. We would have a drought of our own if not for him securing Mead this week. It's huge news for us Arizonans that he's making progress towards securing Mead from California - thus putting pressure on Cali to treat water like we do here.

I feel like both VPs are MUCH more widely liked. By far

Kaine is well liked, but Pence only has a favorability rating in the mid/low 40s here in Indiana.

I think 2% in a month is achievable, especially if he gets the Paul endorsement!

I also think that Trump is a better debator than Hillary, but a third voice would be nice in the debates and would be the only way he gets the promotion to actually compete with Trump/Hillary

He only needs 2% more if the CNN poll is accurate, and since Ron Paul (and Glenn Beck, but ew) are considering endorsing Johnson, it is very likely he gets to 15% and is in the debates!

Fff. Now imagine Trump wins. 4 years later extreme Conservatives fill the Supreme Court. Gay marriage is repealed. Abortion rights repealed. Muslim immigration halted. Mass deportation of illegal immigrants. How would you now feel about your vote for Johnson?

He needs an average of 15% to be in the debates, not have only 1 poll show 15%.

Trump has always been in favor of gay rights (unlike Hillary), and has said even this campaign that he respects the SCOTUS decision.
Abortion rights he has said should remain a state issue and the federal government should stay out of it.
We should not have immigration from the ME (other than Israel) until ISIS/Hamas/Hezbollah/etc. aren't as major threats anymore.
Illegals have no right to be in a country. That's why they're called ILLEGALs. Give them a path to work visas, and if they don't take that path, deport them.

I'd vote for Johnson any day because I agree with around 90% of what he says, but I still agree with around 70% of what Trump says and only around 50% of what Hillary says.

An average across 5 polls, and if 13% is accurate in the CNN poll hypothetically, then it alongside four other polls would have to report an increase to 15%.

Voting a 3rd party in a GE is useless especially if you never supported the party to begin with. Start by electing local 3rd party candidates to local offices. Start from the ground up. Don't neglect candidates of 3rd parties in these vital elections and then suddenly voice support for them in an election that is going to end up with us having a Dem or Repub either way.

Johnson was my 2nd favorite in the 2012 election (after Paul)

Voting 3rd party isn't useless - voting for a candidate you don't believe in is useless. People should vote for who they believe in - then we'd have much better elections. I've voted Republican and Democrat, and I plan to continue voting on what I believe is right no matter what party is behind the bill/person.

Gay marriage aside, what about all the crazy stuff he says on a daily basis? The Mexican judge comment? The Star of David tweet? The sexist comments about Megyn Kelly and other women? The playing coy with David Duke? The rude childish insults he gives all his opponents? The complete lack of seriousness and professionalism? How would he handle a sensitive international crisis? How would he get on with foreign leaders? Doesn't any of this scare you?
