As much as Lemonade aged badly I LOVE this era for her.
The title alone is so genius even in its simplicity.
I love that she finally SAID SOMETHING. It's really what I wanted from her the past few eras but i guess it wasn't the right time.
I love that she turned lemons into lemonade and that's how you get through a rough patch in a relationship.
The only thing is that once the cracks show it's hard to get it back so I don't know what Jay z will do now with the expose.
Freedom with Kendrick (I'm literally welling up while typing this) sends me to a great place. that never aged bad but I get Ihype's claims.
4 minus 5 songs still remains my favorite album and Beyonce era songs seem to hold more in excitement.
I love the Lemonade era but half of the songs have already aged bad. Still good but I was expecting it to hold up more.
I'm still glad she finally gave me what I wanted from her even though I haven't actually purchased the album and probably won't.
I've only dropped two artists in my life: Beyonce and Nicki I'm typically loyal through the bad times (hence Booty Juice era) because they were not giving me what I wanted to see and hear from them as artists.
Beyonce gave me Lemonade and it's still hard for me to jump back on.
I now get why it's hard for many stans to jump back on to their former faves because once the trust and love is gone it's hard to jump back in.
It also makes me further understand why artist like Taylor Swift and so on and so forth are SO PROTECTIVE of their image and brand because once you've lost the love from the fans...it's hard for them to want to give you another shot (unless the loss in love was not really the artist's fault)
