It's a mess.

I've done it as well, but a brazilian fansite - which even used a screencap of Eternium's list - said they can find out if you're not actually from the US, so they cancel your scores.
RTM literally says you can be an online listener and make multiple accounts. You can make an account as a non-U.S. listener. I addressed it in the first PM!
