I didn't say they had a better plan, I was just pointing out hers is super thin and full promises that will not come true. Hillary's plan is cutting interest rates and and help with refinancing, plus finding money to give to schools. That's it. There will be no free college, she has no real plan for half her stuff. Telling people to vote for me and you got to school for free is super deceptive.

No it won't. Many, including McCain said it's unnecessary. It had over 400 hundred when Obama took office and now it's down to only 90. So the argument of it being a necessity is void at this point.

A debate is not the format to go into policy detail. That's what a website is for. Truth is she has no real plan that doesn't include caveats but has spent the last year talking about "debt free college" as a centerpiece of her campaign.

I agree that Hilary doesn't have good footing with the whole college thing tho. At least I'm not utterly convinced. I think it'll be one of those Obama'd promises where she fails to come thru. But with someone like her in the White House at least there's space for dialogue. I mean, it's never been a problem about disagreeing with political figures.

It's just that Trump is on another level of idgaf. And it's irresponsible, as adults, to hand over the future of our country to a man who lacks common principles... I mean... fine... even Hilary lacks many common principles (she's somewhat of a political *****, no sexism intended), but at least she succumbs to shame—the last resort against crooked politicians. Donald Trump functions as tho he has no obligation to any constituents. Forget bad politics, that's just plain dangerous.

i mean i agree i dont think its neseccary, but it would face major GOP opposition. Im playing devils advocate is all. Isn't there a state that passed a bill saying they wouldnt accept gtmo detainees in their prisons? and thats just as a precaution in case it eventually shuts down

You're putting words in my mouth. It's common knowledge the wealthy pay little in taxes. Raising their tax rate and ending loopholes will raise revenue. Raising wages for the middle class and get them spending more helps the economy. It's a basic formula that I agree with that not every state will include, but for the ones that will it's a start. That's what I said.

For example, Obamacare and education. These are implemented but ultimately states can deny federal spending and funding. (BTW, I know your opinion on Obamacare but let's not go there). Just because Ohio and Pennsylvania have Republican Governors that say "NO" doesn't mean she can't go forward in other states. California and New York for example would happily accept federal funding for free community college for the students.
