To be fair, even though I don't like their appearance, don't most young people view the Kardashians/Jenners as the epitome of beauty... the amount of people getting surgery for their waist smaller, bigger bum and lip injections is insane. Not to mention everyone copies the Kim/Kylie makeup

I agree that Kylie is very popular among young people, she definitely got that. The people who try to look like her or get lip injections are mainly Youtube stars or Instagram "models". Kim's contour technique was only popular because Youtubers knew that it'd give them lots of clicks but hardly anyone uses that in real life as it's extremely cakey and too much work. I know that they're much bigger in the US and got all kinds of deals there but here they're nothing more than a few headlines every now and then and the reports even shade them most of the time. Globally people cared more about Paris (including her reality show) than about Kim (now) and that was when social media wasn't big.
