I just had an awful phone call interaction. This client wanted a solicitor but the solicitor was busy...
She asked for a solicitor, I told the solicitor, the solicitor said to take a message as they are dealing with urgent work and wont have time today, I tell the client. The client goes "well actually this is urgent too and I really need to talk to her, like it would only take a couple of minutes, you know." - my aunt and the accountant are like "Dont put her through cause the solicitor wont take it" and I'm starting to get really nervous and I'm not sure what to do. I tell the client "I'm sorry but the solicitor has made it clear that it's urgent" and this bitch turns around and says "Well are you not gonna ask her again? Cause this is urgent". My aunt said just put her through then but she wont take it, so with relief I quickly mumbled "okay I'll ask"
Starting ringing the solicitor and she wasn't answering which made me panic even more, thankfully just as soon as I was gonna hang up, the solicitor answered and I couldn't get the words out of my quicker "She's insisting it's urgent but I've already told her" - The solicitor could clearly hear the panic in my voice as she replied "Okayyyyy Luke, I'll take it"
I wanted to cry
) I have no social skills so it was the most terrifying moment of my life.
