The very fact that she is fighting Latina stereotypes with her image and music instead of being Paid Lo'd and taking acting jobs where 90% of the time she plays a maid is already big for the community. Breaking down barriers and setting her latina looks as the new beauty standard instead of the usual white American version. Truly a pioneer in the Latina civil rights movement.
