I should go for a Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) type song because that song only has eight lines plus the "hold your head up / keep your head up / moving on" part.

But SDAMOT was the inspiration for Alakazam and that did noT go well...

I got a melody for the chorus! I was gonna make my song about demon possession and use all kinds of cool effects like backmasking, vocoder, etc. to make it really haunting, but y'all are wanting catchy hooks so lemme do a song about partying or something.

Loki finished my song already (first draft) now comes the hard part of the melody.
Although I kinda was doing it in my head as I was writing. It's just going to be hard to pick an instrumental that fits it.

I'm actually finding this easier than I thought after giving it a solid effort. I also really wanted to practice writing to instrumentals anyway, as it's a very needed skill as a songwriter. So...yeah even if I leave this challenge, at least I have something to take from it.

Once I stop getting 522'd I can help each and every one of you if you need. I can read your songs/hear your melodies/provide feedback, help with understanding instrumentals, etc.

I also made another instrumental if anyone wants to use it, it's slower than most I provided with 85 bpm as the tempo.
