This statement is objectively wrong. Dark horse had some trap elements but Prism was mainly about hedonism and girly ********. Rise is not only full trap but incorporates elements of psybient, namely the wide Synths to create a sense of wide space while the album cover's surreal minimalistic aesthetic shows that this album is not of this world or any silly emotional "getting over a bf or a girl said something mean to me" or whatever the **** girls sing about. Mainstream pop artists never touch the next level in their "work" but Katy Perry does exactly this, drawing you out of your world and into a higher plane.
