I played the Sims 4 for the first time in almost a year a few days ago.

Spent 2 hours in CAS, 40 minutes making a house, 20 minutes in game...

I REALLY hope Sims 5 is good because even though I'm talented at wasting my money on **** I don't need, the Sims 4 was too boring for me to.

The Sims 2 sold 20 million on ALL platforms. It sold 6 million on PC, 13 million on console, 20 million on all platforms (PC, Mac, GBA, DS, PSP, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube & Mobile).

For PC only, The Sims 2 is at 6 million. Sims 3 is on 7 million.
The Sims 2 selling 6 million on PC was confirmed by Devs last month.

The Sims 4 hasn't been released outside PC and Mac, so to compare to 10 or so platforms is unfair.

SimGuruNinja confirmed The Sims 4 has sold 5 million, and that The Sims 2 sold 6 million.
The Sims 3 sold 7.42 million as of 2015 when EA provided sales for the Guinness Book of Records.

The Sims 4 is doing well, simply because EA is focusing on PC and Mac only. While Console games helped sales, releasing them too close to the PC launch just meant people chose console over PC.

2 still has more sales than 4 then?

It seems really odd how other platforms like consoles sell more than the PC version.

The Sims 3 is the best Sims game ever made and honestly I can't see that changing anytime soon

When it was avaliable on all platforms, of course the Sims 2 was going to sell more all up.
The Sims 4 outsold The Sims 2 on PC, and the PC one is the main one

The Sims 3 is trash compared to The Sims 2. And the Sims 4 started out as trash but is improving with every patch and pack.
Not to mention, the Sims look hideous in 3. And all the CC that apparently makes them "pretty" just makes them look like moving wax figures

nnnn, drown ha in a pool or something and move on or invite some hot henny sims over and cheat on ha till she hates you and leaves.

Get to work is good because it gives you more things to do in the world something the base game is lacking in.

But are you only playing the base game though?



There's more to do in The Sims 4 base game, than in The Sims 3 base game.
But any Sims base game is boring after an hour or so.

Rumours are going around SimsAmino, that The Sims 3 has leaked in Alpha form. Which means a really early version of it has leaked.

We don't have confirmation though, just someone claiming to have it.

Eurgh can they just abandon the sims 4 and make sims 5 a priority instead.. This game is trash compared to 2 and 3

It's improved a lot, but it is still lacking. I still feel as though it needs EPs to feel like a complete game, which isn't s good sign for me. Oh well, I'm glad they've patched it up though

The base game of S3 was fun for me. I spent hours playing it, glitches and all. It's hard to play TS4 for hours. Also you shouldn't EPs to make a game as they are meant to enhance the experience, not create them.

Honestly, I wouldn't blame EA. Simmers (Yes, even The Sims has a fanbase btw ) kept whining and moaning about 4 ever after Seasons' release.

The Sims 4 used to be a completely different project but that's one explanation why they had to cut some features and why the game looks rushed.
