Exactly. Sometimes the people don't know what they want, so they must be told. Secularism is the only way.

This happens in the West too. Clearly the UK should not have given the people an option to leave the EU. People don't deserve certain rights to decisions if they're ignorant and don't understand the ramifications.

If Turkish people want to remain under an Islamic theocracy, then they don't know any better, so force has to be used. I hope the military realizes what the shortcomings were this time around and plans more carefully. There is no room for error anymore.

Nothing wrong with an Islam-friendly gov't, but there's something wrong if you exclude every other religion and non religious people. That's literally secularizing and creating power groups and those vulnerable.

I don't ****ing care what you believe in, but you have no right to force people to be in a certain religion or else you get jailed/punished/looked down upon.
