Military governments never worked, according to what history has teached. They're ruining a beautiful country that is ready to become part of the Western world, I don't understand why certain small but powerful groups of people don't want progress.
I know, but turning a blind eye out of necessity is not 'supporting'.
To say Erdogan is pro-IS while they attacked his country multiple times is bull.
this quote sums it up:
Quote:
This style of doing business is best described by a commander of the Free Syrian Army. He and his forces fight ISIS to the death. And yet, he buys petrol from ISIS to power generators and vehicles—the very same trucks and jeeps he uses to battle ISIS. In the words of the commander, as published in The Financial Times: “ISIS needs the money and we need the fuel. You have to both laugh and cry at the situation.”
Military governments never worked, according to what history has teached. They're ruining a beautiful country that is ready to become part of the Western world, I don't understand why certain small but powerful groups of people don't want progress.
Just like the US deserves whatever fate befalls our asses, considering our interventionist policies are the reason radical Islamist terrorism exists in the first place.
I'm afraid what is going to happen... I'm pro-Army because they want a democratic, secular country but majority of people seems to support Erdogan and islamisation... hell I don't want a civil war in Turkey and most certainly another crazed, radical islam country
The Aegean coast, which is the richest part of the country, is more than ready. The flop provinces of the east better adapt if they want a better quality of life.
Army has no right to force people to live in a secular country if they dont want to.
yes they do. they have done this many times. last in 1997. then in 1993. its thanks to the military that Turkey hasnt become a hell hole of radical islam like saudi arabia
