I legit think it has potential. It's extremely catchy and infectious and it has a slight throwback sound to it, which is always a good thing. And it's right between pop and r&b too.
There's no guarantee that it will be a hit, but I really think it has a chance. I never thought so with Player. Even on the first day with the excitement and all, my bravest prediction was "moderate hit"

They did her wrong, the production is extremely half-assed.
It's just simple things like the transition from the intro to the first verse and that ugly "hands up hands up hands up" sound in the background.
I don't know. The song certainly is infectious but I just feel like this hook isn't strong enough to do any substantial damage on the charts. I really do like this song though and I hope I can be proven wrong.

I never saw the point in delayed adds dates, but labels seem to think it helps with momentum and gives the song some space to naturally build up with early airplay, so... maybe they know better.
Still, I'd rather they sent it on Tuesday. With new artists, it's all about striking while the iron is hot. In 2 weeks, the hype of the release will be well over and only the video will be able to re-ignite it. Maybe that's the plan?

It needs to go to radio as soon as possible. The more I listen to the song the more it grows on me however it does sound somewhat dated so the hype needs to be constant for it to be successful.
I like the song.it's classic rnb pop '90s song kinda. It fits her but it's not going to be her break out single. Still I liked it and heard it more than all those songs released this Friday. Can't wait to blast no contest tho
