Trump leaning towards Mike Pence

Well...even if my personal pick would be Gingrich, tapping Pence would be a smart idea to galvanize the conservative base of the Republican Party. He's not well likes to the overall electorate (but as we've seen this cycle, likeability doesn't mean much) however he's well liked among republicans. It will warm republicans up to Trump who still feel uneasy about him.

If Pence is picked then it'll go far to organize republicans under him

Gingrich said he was gonna talk about the VP process today between 1pm-2pm EDT so that'll be awkward for him now that he's not picked .

With Pence also being picked, someone who's viewed as a safe choice for Trump, I wonder if this makes Hillary more or less likely to choose Kaine. I'd think the former myself but I'm not sure.

Though she still has options including Perez, Castro, Warren, etc

It was around the same place that it is now on June 8th. Hillary's had a rough week, don't worry about it. It'll go up after the convention.

I just realized that Pence is the man behind the infamous Indiana LGBT law, Reading up on him has me scared at even the possibility of him having any say in this country.

It's awful and while Trump himself doesn't care at all about LGBT in either direction he said he'll elect conservative judges (to shut the party up) so the prospect of a bigoted VP, GOP Congress and possibly Supreme Court is the stuff of nightmares

Indiana was the original North Carolina, signing a stupid law that cost the state millions in boycotts and he had to change the bill a bit and was grilled to the bone by the media. It's the same people writing these religious freedom bills, they go state to state and one of the leaders was traced back to a group who wants to keep homosexuality illegal in foreign countries It's like if Westboro was writing Congress bills

Hillary's going to have address trust issues head-on. It's one of her biggest problems and she's just ignoring it and avoiding it, hoping that public perception will miraculously improve on its own.
